To provide waste processing method and equipment by which wide and various kinds of wastes can be stably processed with efficient and inexpensive device configuration.SOLUTION: According to this processing method and processing equipment, organic waste, in which after foreign substances, which cannot be used as fertilizers or fuel, are mixed, is hydrolyzed by steam of a high temperature and a high pressure, the foreign substances and the hydrolyzed organic waste are separated, an oil content is added to the hydrolyzed organic waste, and the same is dehydrated by stir-fry processing. Preferable equipment comprises a waste input port 2, a steam supply port 3, an oil content supply port 4, a non-decomposition product exhaust port 5, a processed product exhaust port 6 and a pressure exhaust and air exhaust port 7 in a processing container 1 which has pressure resistance and can be heated, and comprises a steam hydrolysis chamber 19, and a stir-fry processing chamber 21 and a non-decomposition product separation chamber 20 therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
