The present invention relates to a mesoporous niobium nitride-carbon composite, a method of manufacturing the same, and a potassium ion secondary battery including the same, and more particularly, to a niobium having a mesoporous structure by using self-assembly by microphase separation of a block copolymer A nitride-carbon composite is prepared, and using it, the volume change is small even in the reaction in which potassium ions are intercalated and desorbed into the crystal structure during charging and discharging, and the rate of charging and discharging through the reaction on the surface is higher than 40%. Therefore, it is structurally stable and can be applied as a negative electrode material for a potassium ion secondary battery capable of expressing a high capacity. In addition, the mesoporous niobium nitride-carbon composite used in the present invention has a significantly higher capacity retention at a higher rate than that of a conventional graphite material, and exhibits excellent characteristics without a decrease in capacity even after charging and discharging more than 2000 times.
