The invention relates to a vest that gives autonomy to people to deal with earthquakes and emergencies from the moment they occur. The vest comprises a pair of eyelets for a whistle; a pocket for a flexible bottle of at least 500ml of water, with a no-spill straw; a transparent pocket for an identification card containing healthcare information; and other invisible or internal pockets with closures, designed to be sufficiently big to hold a multifunctional device with a dynamo power generator; prescription medication, spare lenses, house and/or car keys, energy bar, dust mask, thermal blanket, mobile phone, USB memory stick, first aid kit, pocket knife, money, inter alia. The size is adjusted using straps with clasps. The vest is self-stowing and is filled using the handle on the hood, which facilitates its transport.
