Ready-made application form for the use of disinfecting agents for water disinfection, the at least one solid filling (2) comprising the disinfecting agent or forming on contact with water, which is located in an inner packaging (1) made of a material which, upon contact with liquid water, prevents the allows liquid water to form the solid filling (2), and which is permeable to the disinfectant active ingredient, and comprises an additional casing (3) surrounding the inner packaging (1) and having a structure permeable to liquid water. The application form is placed or suspended in a water supply and after a predetermined treatment time it is removed from the water supply as a whole with any residues or reaction products of the filling that may be present.
