摘要

In order to suppress narrowing of the bandwidth of an optical signal which occurs when multiplexing/demultiplexing devices are disposed in multiple stages, the optical transmission device is provided with: first multiplexing devices each for outputting a first wavelength-multiplexed signal by multiplexing post-first-processing signals obtained by applying first filtering processing to transmitted optical signals input thereto; and a second multiplexing device for outputting a secondwavelength-multiplexed signal by multiplexing the first wavelength-multiplexed signals after second filtering processing is applied thereto. The upper limit and the lower limit of a first transmission band, that is, a transmission band pertaining to the first filtering processing, are respectively different from the upper limit and the lower limit of a second transmission band, that is, a transmission band pertaining to the second filtering processing.
