Improvements in Glassblowers' Blowpipes.

13,801. Edwards, E., [Hirsch, O.]. Aug. 1. Blowing.-Glassblowers' blowpipes are constructed with deflecting chambers and passages filled with cotton wool &c. to remove moisture from the air. Fig.1 shows one arrangement, in which the blowpipe a is fitted with inner tubes c, d with openings b, so that the air takes the course indicated. The spaces between the tubes are packed with cotton wool. Other arrangements are described in the Specification.
