3010. Bell, G. Feb. 14. Detonator apparatus.-Detonators are fixed on arms rotated on a spindle by a chain and wires connected to levers, the arms being under a cover G. The detonators D are attached to the arms B by thumb-screws which grip the carriers C in slots in the arms B. The spindle is rotated by a chain M passing round it and connected by wires to two levers in the cabin which move over notched segments. By moving the levers into various notches, the detonators are set over the rail one by one.
