An Improved Holder of Newspaper Contents Bills amp; Bills of a like Character

Advertising; displaying.-A holder for displaying newspaper contents bills, play bills, auction bills, &c. consists of a sheet of flexible material such as American or holland cloth, canvas, or webbing, or of rigid material such as millboard or thin wood, with flexible material at each end ; at each end is attached a rod of, say, steel, preferably of half-round section. The bill is placed upon the backing a, Fig. 2, and the rods b are rolled round until the bill is secured among the rolls of the backing ; clamps c are then applied to hold the rolls in place the clamp may have rings d for hanging up the whole. The holder may have side-flaps which can be turned in to hold the edges of the bill before the ends are rolled up. Fig. 5 shows a modified form in which the end bars are of coiled wire so that the holder can fit round a post and be secured by the hooks shown.
