Toolholders.-A tool for a planing machine, lathe, or other machine tool is held in a hole b formed partly in the head of the holder a and partly in a block d, which has a limited motion in the head and is operated by a set-screw f extending to the back end of the holder. A pin k prevents the withdrawal of the screw f from a recess in the block d and consequently the withdrawal of the block. Two or more blocks and screws may be used.
