3682. Mennes, W. J. Feb. 14. Exercising-apparatus.-The fingers of musicians, typists, and telegraphists are rendered supple by the application of a tongs-like device in the manner shown. The longer arms 2 of the tongs are fitted with curved finger-plates 3, pivoted at 4, and are extended against the action of springs 6 by the pressure of the hand.
