Fastenings, railway and other carriage door. - The safety-catch described in Specification No. 10,522, A.D. 1893, is made according to the present invention with its bearing-face C inclined, as shown in Fig. 1, or the whole catch is mounted at an angle, as shown in Fig. 3, so that the bearing- face C is in alinement with the door bolt E or the like when in contact therewith.
