Plug-cocks.-Apparatus for delivering water or other liquid from tanks or the like comprises a pipe B having a transverse perforation and adapted to rotate in a liquid tight casing A fitted to the tank, connexion with the liquid in the tank being established when the delivery end C of the pipe is brought into the discharging position. An adjustable counterpoise C1 retains the delivery pipe in its inoperative position. Fig. 4 shows the device as applied to a tank for supplying water to locomotives.
