Road-vehicle signals.-A semaphore arm a, Fig. 2, arranged at the rear of a vehicle, is lowered into the horizontal position shown in dotted lines by means of a rack and pinion c, c' and a Bowden-wire connexion d to a handle within reach of the driver or to the brake pedal, so as to warn the drivers of following vehicles when the first vehicle is about to slacken speed. The semaphore when lowered may also disclose a lamp f.
