Picking-up tools.-A device for use in handpicking or sorting peas, seeds, &c. consists of a tube a, Fig. 2, with a taper end-piece b surrounded by a piece c of spring steel &c., the lower portion of which is cut to form a number of spring-fingers d having their ends bent inwards and upwards. In a modification, the piece c is replaced by a number of separate fingers e, Fig. 3, the upper ends of which may be encircled by a ferrule f.
