Sluice gates.-A storm-water &c. weir, for use more particularly in connexion with sewage, consists of a fixed and of a removable weir C, the latter rising as the tank J fills and lifts the float d. The tank J has an adjustable inlet and outlet f, k respectively. The object of the apparatus is to allow the first rush of dirty storm water to pass along the sewer l while the cleaner water passes into the overflow n. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1318/71.
