Improvements in Covers for Spare Pneumatic Tyres and Spare Wheels of Motor Vehicles.

Wrappers for pneumatic tyres.-A cover for a spare tyre or spare wheel and tyre for motor-vehicles consists of a number of segments of waterproof material sewn together with overlapping ends 15, 16, Fig. 1, and with flaps 21-26 which secure the part covering the inner periphery of the tyre. The cover is made of a part 18, Fig. 2, a number of sections similar to 2 and 8, and another part 19 to which are sewn a number of flaps similar to 25. The edge of each flap is strengthened by a wire 29 adapted to fit on a hook 30. Each flap is also provided with a tab 32 to facilitate handling. Covers for spare wheels are provided with suitable gaps &c. to clear attachments on the wheel rim.
