Ordnance design; war-rocket.-The Specification describes an aerial explosive machine which is launched from the apparatus shown in Fig. 1, comprising a carriage 37 which can be trained, and a cylinder 36 which can be elevated by a worm gear 40. The aerial machine is placed with a groove 43 over a yoke 42 at the end of a piston 41, which is thrust forward by the explosion of a gaseous mixture in the cylinder 36, the propelling- engine of the aerial machine being started just before this.
