Pump-actuating mechanism. - Motor-vehicles are fitted with dust-laying devices comprising watersprays, a supply of compressed air for the sprayers being obtained from a pump driven from the engine shaft. The pump comprises a cylinder A in one end of which is a bush b1 closed by caps d, f, the cap f being fitted with non-return valves.
