Reaming.-Flanges and similar articles produced by rolling and which are elongated during the operation are rendered circular or trued by pressing to shape externally in a die while the - central hole is trued by a cutting-tool or reamer. A combined machine for effecting the finishing operations comprises a press head g with a top die f coacting with a bottom die e, and a rotary tool k driven by bevel-gearing from a shaft c which carries eccentrics i to operate the press head. The tool k is carried by a spindle l which slides through the bevel-wheel n as the press head reciprocates, the bevel-wheel being journaled in a cross-bar on the press frame.
