Printing-surfaces. - A mounting-board for stereos, electros, zincos, &c., which will not become distorted by heat and damp, comprises a number of wood strips a, Figs. 2 and 3, joined together longitudinally by interconnecting parts, such as tongues and grooves, and having at each end tongues a1 engaging a groove in a transverse wood strip b, which is secured to the strips a by a nail c passing through the middle of the strip b and by other-nails e passing through slots d in the strip. The slots d allow for expansion and contraction of the board and may be widened at their outer ends to receive metal bearing plates f for the heads of the nails e. The strips a may be of hard and soft wood alternately.
