The objective of this interim response action is to correct a hydraulic imbalance in the North Boundary treatment and recharge system. Ten gravel filled recharge trenches will be constructed along the downgradient side of the slurry wall. This draft final decision document provides summaries of: (1) alternatives considered; (2) significant events leading to the initiation of the IRA; (3) the IRA project; and (4) the applicable or relevant and appropriate requirements, standards, criteria, or limitations (ARAR'S) associated with the program. Comments and responses are found in the appendix.
