Improvements relating to flanges for warp and like beams

213,008. Starkie, R. E. Dec. 23, 1922. Warp beams.-Flanges A for warp beams &c. are made of aluminium or aluminium alloy and are combined with strengthening - pieces B of steel or wrought iron. The strengthening-pieces are arranged radially around the flange and have their inner ends cranked at b to lie in pockets a1 projecting from the tubular boss a2, the outer ends of the pieces lying in pockets a in the flange, which may be cast around the pieces B as shown.
