Plates, dishes, &c. are made from crepe rubber by coating one or both surfaces with china-clay, whiting, lime &c. and by applying a layer of transparent latex, before and after or after such coating. The article may be printed upon as described in Specification 204,668, [Class 70, India-rubber &c.], and the article is cold vulcanized, as by the Peachey process.
