221,654. Burdick, C. L. Oct. 1, 1923. Money-delivering apparatus. - In a machine of the coin tube type, having receiving bars with spring clips for paper money, the money is ejected into a shoot 2 by ejectors 3 which are operated by keys 4 and keybars 4a. Each key and bar also operates a typing bar 10 so placed that the type will fall in columns on a paper strip to indicate the total value of money delivered. A separate kev 4 is provided for each whole number of pounds, shillings and pence, bars 4a operable simultaneously with the button keys 4 representing ten shillings, sixpence and a halfpenny. Each key 4 and 'bar 4a is connected to a rod 5 with arms 6 from which wires run to shafts 8 to operate the ejectors. Wires 7a run to bell cranks 9 to operate the typing bars 10. Rotary movement is given to the shafts 5 by spiral grooves 11 and a cross-bar 12 on the key shafts, the bar 12 fitting a straight groove on the casing 13.
