Thermometers.-A combined stand and handle for a thermometer for use in cooking - operations comprises a wire frame g secured to a plate c having a longitudinal rib engaging in a channel formed in a stud a secured to the upper end of the thermometer h, the plate and stud being held in engagement by a spring e and nut f. Fig. 4 shows the frame in position as a stand. To use the frame g as a handle it is rotated through 180 degrees until the rib again engages in the channel.
