Peeling potatoes.-A potato cleaning and peeling machine is adjustable so as to be easily fixed in or removed from any ordinary bowl, bucket or the like and has a removable corrugated abrasive disc which rotates at the bottom of a stationary abrasive cylinder. As shown in Fig. 1, the cylinder engages rings d, d1 which are integral with or attached to radial arms b, b1 supporting central bearings k for a shaft h to which the bottom disc g is secured. The rings d, d1 are connected by bolts f and the arms b are provided with extensions c which are adjusted to the sides of the bowl or bucket and are locked by screws e. In a modification, coiled springs with hooked ends replace the extensions c. Rubber feet m are provided.
