Moulding ice-cream and the like.- The operating mechanism for rotating the scraper or slicer K round the inside of the bowl C of a device for serving ice-cream and like substances is contained within the tubular handle A of the device and comprises a rod J carrying the scraper and adapted to be rotated by an Archimedean screw when a, trigger R projecting through a slot in the handle A is pulled back against a spring S inside the handle. The rod J is supported at the forward end in a detachable bearing member and at the rear end by a removable plug member T in the end of the handle so that the operating mechanism is readily detachable for cleaning.
