[Class 113 (ii).] Hydroplane vessels are provided with hydrovanes 4, 5, 7 having lower surfaces continuously concave transversely to the line of motion of the craft. The hydrovanes are carried on stream-lined legs 2, 3, 6 arranged two forward and one aft so that the centre of gravity of the craft falls within the enclosed space. The craft is propelled by propellers mounted on the legs or by air propellers.
