[Class 67] A nailless shoe is formed at the sides and toe with upstanding tongues 10, 11, 12 having points 14, 15 for entering the hoof and is secured by a narrow steel strip 2 which engages the hooked end 18 of the front tongue 12 and presses against the side tongues 10, 11, and has cylindrical ends 6, 7 passing through eyelets in inclined projections 4, 5 at the heels. The end 6 is retained in its eyelet by a head 8, while the end 7 is screw-threaded to receive a nut 9. The attachment is completed by projections 16, 17 which when heated become embedded in the hoof. The shoe has detachable wearing members 19, 20, 21, at the toe and heels.
