[Class 51 (i)] [Also in Group XI] An electrically driven pump and blower supplying liquid fuel and air to a furnace are continued in operation when combustion is not required, a valve in the fuel conduit being opened to byepass the fuel back to the reservoir and a valve in the air conduct being closed except for a small passage allowing scavenging air to pass to the furnace. The fuel and air valves may be operated by electromagnets arranged in circuit with the motor driving the pump and blower.
