[Class 38 (iii)] A three-phase pole-changing or variablespeed motor driving a hoist is supplied from a single-phase source by connecting two terminals of the motor to the supply, and supplying the third terminal through a condenser connected to one of the supply lines, and also from one terminal of an auxiliary light-running three-phase induction motor having its other two terminals connected to the supply. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 441,062, [Group XXXV].
