[Class 88 (ii)] A note indicator for teaching the theory of music comprises a base member A, marked with one or more lines B representing note stems, and adjustable vertically on a panel F having the usual stave lines G, the base member being provided with eight transverse slots D for the lateral adjustment of musical symbols C displayed on one or both sides of the stem or stems. Notes, chords, intervals, modes and chromatic or other scales can be indicated by the use and adjustment of the various symbols illustrated.
