Apparatus for measuring the oxygen content of a gas by measuring the resistance of a hot wire in the gas subjected to a magnetic field, comprises a symmetrical arrangement of four identical gas chambers 1-4, carrying calibrated hot wires 5-8, the chambers 1, 4 being supplied with magnets 9, 10; the other chambers 2, 3 being supplied with pseudo-poles 13, 14 for physical symmetry. The four wires 5-8 are connected in a bridge circuit for determining the resistance variation of the wires 5, 8 in the magnetized gas chambers 1, 4.
