[Also in Group XXIII] During preheating of the parts 1, 2 by flames prior to the sealing step a heating element 5 is introduced between the parts so as to accelerate the heating up of the interior and reduce failures due to uneven heating. The element may be a frame of electrically-heated wires, or a single rodlike electric heater placed so that the rotation of the parts brings all parts of their circumference over it, or a plate preheated by flames.
