Class 75(3) A miniature scale model for use in model lighting installations comprises a hollow column arm or the like having a base beyond which projects a screw-threaded extension with a nut for securing it to a support, the other end of the column supporting an electric lamp to which current is conveyed by a wire or wires passing through the column, the whole article from the base upwards having the external appearance of the real article, e.g. a street or railway lamp. In the form shown, a thin brass column 1 is mounted on a base by means of a foot 2 and locking nut 2 and carries at the upper end a bush 4 on which a globe 5 having a cap 6 is mounted. The lamp 7 of the single contact type is in contact with an eyelet 9 resting on an insulating disc 10 and connected to a wire 8 passing down the interior of the column the circuit being completed through the column itself.
