Aerosol cleaning agents for ovens contain a mixture of a hydrophylic liquid phase, which contains a cleaning agent, a liquid propellent with an agent which makes an oven surface or the like resistant to dirt, and a surface-active substance. Ratios generally used are: cleaning agent 1-10%, pref. 2-4%; agent which confers dirt-resistance 0.5-10%, pref. 1-3%; surface-active agent 0.2-10%, pref. 2-4%; propellant 4-12%, pref. 7-9%; water 40-90%, pref. 55-75%; if a high-boiling solvent is present, the ratio is 10-50%, pref. 15-25%, all % being by wt.
