A holder for a relay comprises identical insulating modules 3 retained on a resilient metal bar 5 by engagement of locating pins 3a with apertures 5a and of shoulders 3b with bar limbs 5b, recesses in adjacent modules defining contact-housing cavities 3c. Projections (3e, Fig. 1a, not shown) and apertures 3f on the modules fit together and recesses 3g in the modules receive a retaining clip of an inserted relay. A resilient contact 2, Fig. 3a, terminating in a solder tag, snap-fits in each cavity 3c and is retained by its resilience. Alternatively, a contact (2SP1/SP, Fig. 3b, not shown), similar to the contact 2 but narrower, snap-fits into one of two chambers 3cSP1/SP, 3cSP11/SP in each cavity 3c, each contact (2SP1/SP) terminating in a tag for connection to printed circuitry on a panel face.
