An electrical connector for connecting a printed circuit board 20 to a stack of carrier sheets 30, e.g. in a fixed-word magnetic store, comprises conducting flexible contact strips 12 of rectangular cross-section partially embedded in an insulating sheet 22 or 24 which may be laminated, the strips 12 being parallel and close together at one end for connection to the carrier sheets 30 and diverging towards the other end for connection to the printed circuit board 20 where the contact strips are bent perpendicularly to the plane of the insulating sheet 22, 24 to be plugged into contact holes in the printed circuit board. At said one end they are inserted between the carrier sheets 30 to lie on contact positions as shown in Fig. 6. A lid 32 is provided and contact pressure is applied by a bracket 38 which is screwed on. The contact strips may be formed by etching techniques.
