Luting refrigerator reservoir joints

The joints of a sheet metal vat are made water-tight with a pastey fillings compound based on epoxy resin/hardener, and the internal walls are then coated with a thermo hardening lacquer. The jointing composition and lacquer are heat-cured together. Positive water-tight caulkings and anti-corrosion protection for reservoirs and interior vats of refrigerators. The jointing compound has better adhesion to metal than e.g. paraffin; bitumen, PVC based pastes, and compatability with protective lacquer. No penetration through joints of cellular materials e.g. foamed polyurethane applied externally under pressure.
