The protection circuit, for electrical equipment and lines, has its response sensitivity dependent on the shape of the monitored parameter's curve and contains a filter to stabilise this response against triggering when equipment is witched on. The filter consists of apush-pull amplifier with an adjustable resistor circuit, to set the filter's degree of stabilisation. This resistor circuit is at the filter's input. A second resistor circuit is located at the output to set the limits to stabilisation. The filter is located between an input transformer coupled into the circuit being monitored, and a d.c. decoupled flip-flop.
