[Also in Division B1] Apparatus suitable for agitating water or preventing freezing in ponds comprises a floating tank 1 holding a motor 2 which drives a propeller 5. The propeller is surrounded by a circulating channel made of two parts 7, 8 with a slit 9 therebetween. The channel is surrounded by an annular-channel 10 connected to a pipe 11 leading to the atmosphere. In use water is passed through the circulating channel and air is sucked through the pipe 11, annular-channel 10 and slit 9 to be mixed with the water.
