The cap 23 has a spigot end 24 connected to an air supply pipe 16 and the cap 60 has an aperture (shown plugged by a boss 68 on a removable cover 66) into which the spigot of another diffuser can be inserted (see Fig. 5, not shown). The preferred material is polyvinyl chloride, but other thermoplastic, or rubber, may be used.
