The stabilised preparations retain their activity after prolonged storage at room temp. and the stability and activity of the preparations can be further enhanced by the addition of ox-bile (fel tauri), and topical preparations (which can be applied locally as slimming creams, since they promote breakdown of deposits of fat) pref. also contain a diffusion-promoting substance, pref. thiomucase or hyaluronidase.
