1375781 Antiperspirants COLGATE-PALMOLIVE CO 13 Jan 1972 [14 Jan 1971] 1676/72 Heading A5B Antiperspirant compositions comprise an aqueous solution or emulsion of from 0.01 to 2.0% by weight of a compound of the formula: wherein n is from 1 to 3, R is alkylene of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, RSP1/SP and RSP2/SP are C 1-5 alkyl or are conjoined to form a nitrogen-containing ring having from 4 to 6 carbon atoms, or such a compound substituted with at least one non- interfering atom or radical on at least one of the carbon atoms e.g. bromine, chlorine, iodine, fluorine, nitro, amino, hydroxyl, alkyl or alkoxy; or a salt of such an unsubstituted or substituted compound such as salts with hydrochloric, hydrobromic, hydroiodic, hydrofluoric, sulphuric, sulphurous, acetic, phosphoric, boric, gluconic, and carbonic acids; and from 0.2 to 20% by weight of a water-soluble surface active agent e.g. an amphoteric, anionic, cationic or nonionic surface active agent. The compositions may be in the form of solutions, emulsions, gels, powders, sprays or aerosols containing conventional adjuvants.
