BURMEISTER & WAIN'S MASKIN OG SKIBSBYGGERI AS 7 Dec 1970 [9 Dec 1969] 57931/70 Heading F4T Fuel is supplied via a fuel line 16 to the open front end of a burner unit, the rear end of which is closed, and air is supplied from an air box 7 via an annular duct 9 which surrounds primary and secondary air duets 1 and 2. The distribution of air between the ducts 1 and 2 is determined by an adjustable annular baffle device 10. An adjustable air valve 14 varies the air flow through the duct 9 and the air flow rate is measured by a differential pressure gauge 20 which controls the position of air valve 14. One measuring point of gauge 20 is an aperture 21 in the peripheral wall of a measuring chamber 13. Duct 9 may have a Venturi shape as in Fig. 1 or may not as in Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown). Turbulators 3 and 4 are provided in ducts 1 and 2.
