Gas chromatograph sample injector comprises a heated housing having a hermetically sealed evapn. chamber, communicating with a carrier gas source and the gas chromatograph, and a gauge press chamber also communicating with the carrier gas source. Each of the chambers is tightly closed with an elastic gasket through which the ends of a bent needle (e.g. U-shaped) can be introduced into both chambers. The needle has an internal capillary passage filled with a liq. sample for transfer to the sample evapn chamber. The sample is transferred under the action of a press. differential established between the two chambers.
