Active life of aerosol products, used as anti-perspiration sprays, deodorants, smell-absorbing room-sprays and bath additives, is prolonged and release of active ingredients after spraying is delayed by using sprayable compsns. contg. a film-former (I) soluble in liquid mixt. and also a phasing out agent (II). Pref. wt. ratio (I): solvent is 1:10 to 1:1000; wt. ratio (I): (II) is 1:1 to 1:100. (I) may be synthetic polymers or derivs. of natural polymers, e.g., cellulose derivs. (II) may be silicone oils, paraffin oils, triglycerides and higher fatty acid esters.
