Mouldings comprise a metal component with part of one surface clad decoratively with an impact resistant injection moulded plastic material integrally anchored via holes through the metal component to a backing strip of plastics material generated in the same injection moulding cycle. Pref. the ends of the metal component are clad in the moulding material. Pref. studs or heads are an integral part of the moulding behind the metal component. Alt. captive metal inserts may be used to clip the composite mouldings on to a support. Claimed for mfg. decorative trim or labels for automobile body work.
