The frame has metal-cladding profiles (14, 15) positively connected with plastic hollow profiles, which are provided with edges. The cladding profiles cover the positive profiles at its outer side in a partly flat manner. A fastening screw consisting of an undercut is provided on the plastic profiles, and the cladding profiles comprise resting ribs (5`, 5``) with another undercut, where the ribs positively grasp the screw. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a window or door frame.
