Cellulose prodn from ligno deriv - using phenols from pyrolysis of phenol-lignins and acid catalyst

Cellulose is produced by carrying out the treatment of material contg. lignocellulose in the presence of acid catalysts with phenol mixts., as can be obtd. by pyrolysis of the phenol-lignin formed in the process itself. Phenol losses are compensated, without the need for other decomposing chemicals, except in the first decompsn., the process being self-supporting w.r.t the decomposing agent.
